Tokatee and Trysting Tree

Mark Guistina was kind enough to donate 18 holes from both of these fine coureses.

As a kid I watched Trysting Tree being built and love the course. This video tells the story of how it came about and all the good things it does for golf in Oregon and other places. This is a really lovely place to play with a par 5 hole on 10 that will make you glad the clubhouse is near. All the tees and greens are elevated to be above the flood plain and
that makes for some exciting shots.

Tokatee Golf Club  is located up the McKenzie River is consistently rated as one of the top courses in Oregon. Tokatee Golf Club was built and managed by N.B. (Nat) Giustina until 1996 when Larry Giustina, his son, assumed the management responsibilities. The course is owned by the N.B. Giustina family and they are happy to be part of the Upper McKenzie/Rainbow community.
If you ever want to play where deer are you gallery, this is the place. Open, beautiful, and peacful all descibe but do not do justice. In the spring when the snow is still low in the mountains and the cool breezes roll down the over the course, you feel like you have found the perfect place to strike a ball.

Diamond Woods

I had lunch with Liz Doyle on Thursday and we spoke about the exciting upgrading of the course at Diamond Woods! Can't wait to play once the season starts.
Here is a view on a very rainy day of the 9th  fairway coming up to the Clubhouse.
The left hand picture is of the new Lodge. Great place to hold your party, stay a few days with friends and play, or have a bit of romance and a fantastic view of the valley!
